We are seeking a highly experienced General Manager to lead our team and drive our newly acquired company to new heights.
Position Summary:
The General Manager will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of Flight Crews Unlimited, ensuring operational efficiency, and fostering a culture of excellence. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the aviation industry, with a preference for those who have held a commercial pilot rating. This role requires a dynamic leader with experience in B2B sales, P&L analysis, and the hands-on management of employees.
Key Responsibilities:
– Provide strategic leadership and direction with an emphasis for all operational aspects of the company.
– Develop and implement business strategies to achieve growth and profitability targets.
– Oversee B2B sales efforts, building and maintaining strong client relationships.
– Conduct P&L analysis to ensure financial health and identify areas for improvement.
– Lead, mentor, and manage while fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
– Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies.
– Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and service quality.
– Represent the company at industry events and build a strong network within the aviation community.
-Interface with top level leadership within Team Reliance.
Job Requirements:
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in the aviation industry, with a strong preference for candidates who currently or previously held a commercial pilot rating and extensive flight experience.
- Demonstrated experience in B2B sales and developing client relationships.
- Solid understanding of P&L analysis and financial management.
- Strong leadership skills with a track record of managing and motivating individuals.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to think strategically and execute operational plans effectively.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in Business Administration, Aviation Management, or a related field is preferred.
