Reliance Aerotech Services Grows Support for Marine Toys for Tots Program

Reliance Aerotech Services has continued their holiday commitment to the Marine Corps Toys for Tots program by once again matching the contributions of employees. This year Reliance Aerotech Services and their employees donated $2,000 as well a collection of new children’s toys to the Toys for Tots program. Since 2008, the company has contributed more than $5,000 to help ensure children in need across America have a happy Christmas Day.

“Many families are continuing to struggle during these difficult economic times” said Reliance Aerotech Services General Manager Ron Jordan. “Our ongoing commitment to the good work the U.S. Marine Corps does through this program reflects our corporate commitment to provide people solutions not only in the workplace, but in our communities. We care about our employees and the communities in which we work and the Toys for Tots program is an important way to demonstrate this commitment during the holiday season.”

The Pensacola Coordinator of the Marine Toys for Tots Program, Marine Master Gunnery Sergeant Roberto Rivera said “The continued support from Reliance Aerotech Services for the Toys for Tots program means a lot to both the Marines involved and the children in need. Together we’re ensuring the Toys for Tots program fulfills its mission to bring happiness to children at Christmas.

Check presentations were made to representatives of the Toys for Tots program in Reliance Aerotech Services’ Pensacola and Nashville offices.

The Marine Toys for Tots program was founded in 1991 by the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve with the objective of helping needy children throughout the United States experience the joy of Christmas. The Marine Corps believes our children are one of our nation’s most valuable natural resources and that the program will motivate them to grow into responsible, productive, patriotic citizens and community leaders
