UH60 A&P Helicopter Mechanic
Job Description:
Reliance Aerotech Services is seeking a well-qualified A&P Certified Helicopter Mechanic for a 90 working day contract to direct hire. This is an excellent opportunity for a candidate looking for long term employment with a stable company.
The A&P Helicopter Mechanic will be providing support for helicopters working heavy lift helicopter crane service for disaster relief assistance response and air support. The mechanic will be responsible for performing helicopter maintenance in accordance with customers operating manuals, polices, and procedures. These positions require a high degree of skill and professionalism.
Experience with field work is required along with a thorough understanding of the UH60 and UH1 air frames, power plants, flight controls/computers, electrical system, hydraulic system, maintenance requirements, maintenance manuals and system troubleshooting.
Job Requirements:
--Current FAA Airframe and Powerplant Certification Required
--Must have 3+ years of Helicopter maintenance experience
--Experience on UH60/S70 REQUIRED (looking for a UH60/S70 specialist that can perform all maintenance functions)
--Experience on Bell UH1 also PREFERRED
--Class A Drivers License is a plus
--Must be able and willing to get a Class A Drivers License
--Current Card by US Forest Service
--Must be willing to travel with the helicopters on a regular basis
--Applicants must have a stable work history (no job hoppers will be considered)
--Must provide own tools
--Must be able to pass a 10 year background check
--Must have a current and valid driver's license
