Nashville, TN – Reliance Aerotech Services Inc. (RAS) announced the opening of a new Pensacola office to strengthen recruitment and customer service for Florida and the Gulf States.
“Our Pensacola office reflects Reliance Aerotech Services’ strong growth in the defense and rotor wing markets over the past year,” said Jordan in making the announcement. “We will be in a stronger position to service the high concentration of naval and air force assets and helicopter operators along the panhandle and gulf coast as well as our existing FAR 145 customers in the region with this new initiative.”
“Reliance Aerotech is a great company and will be a good fit in Downtown Pensacola,” Charles Wood, SVP of Economic Development for Pensacola Bay Area (PBA) Chamber of Commerce. “The Economic Development Council is diligently working to create an aerospace industry cluster and Reliance Aerotech is exactly the type of company that we would like to see grow in our community.”
The new Pensacola office includes a dedicated Recruitment Center to strengthen Reliance Aerotech’s profile among the large population of aviation workers in the region. “There is an abundance of highly skilled, military trained aviation professionals in the region,” stated RAS Program Manager Darrell Mooney. “Our company greatly values the contributions of our veterans and in our annual surveys we find there is a strong correlation between their values and attitudes and those of repair station maintenance managers.”
In discussing the Reliance Aertoech’s access to the local workforce of quality aviation professionals, Blaise Adams, Vice Chair of Economic Development for the PBA Chamber of Commerce added, “We are pleased to welcome Reliance Aerotech as a new addition to the Pensacola Bay Area business community. Their decision to expand operations to Pensacola was based on access to a skilled workforce and our strong foundation in the aviation industry. This foundation consists of a significant military presence and continued growth in activity in the private sector as Pensacola Regional Airport continues to expand.”
Reliance Aerotech Services, together with local government organizations, will be hosting an official opening on Tuesday, February 27 to celebrate the new offices. The reception is open to all members of the Florida and Gulf States aviation community.
