PENSACOLA, FL – Reliance Aerotech Services, Inc. (RAS) released an educational video to its employees and the public earlier this week to inform them of COVID-19 (Coronavirus) symptoms and preventative measures. RAS is also offering employees the ability to go negative on their leave balance to avoid putting fellow employees and customer personnel at risk, should they become ill.
“Our skilled employees are our lifeblood. We are committed to minimizing the risk that any of our valued employees could be infected by the Coronavirus at work.” said Ron Jordan, General Manager.
The video outlines facts and figures, as well as symptoms of the virus such as fever, dry cough, and diarrhea. It also provides preventative measures that have been released by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), like frequently washing hands and not touching your face.
In addition to this, Jordan informed all RAS employees that they are adopting a more liberal policy in terms of leave balance, as stated above. “The policy adjustment is designed to ease the financial pressure employees may feel to come in to work even with symptoms, as well as keep the virus from spreading to others,” Jordan said.
RAS is dedicated to keeping its employees across the United States fully informed as the Coronavirus situation evolves, and is keeping a close eye on updates from the CDC.
