Maintenance Controller
Job Description:
Reliance Aerotech Services is seeking an experienced Aircraft Maintenance Controller for a Part 135 Charter operation and Part 145 Repair Station in NC.
Successful applicants will be responsible for:
- Working with both the Director of Maintenance and Director of Operations, securing proper coordination of on the road maintenance.
- Inputting all log pages into the computer system for each aircraft (including computerized maintenance) Ensuring all historical log books have the correct times and cycles and have been calculated accurately by the crew.
- Tracking all airframe, engine cycles, engine times and landing cycles for all aircraft and reporting accordingly.
- Inputting all mechanical discrepancies into EBIS and create work orders for repair.
- Managing all incoming outside invoices and getting approval by managers, then transmitting to accounting to ensure proper payment
- Updating any maintenance manuals.
- Inputting data into online portals for engine, airframe, APU, or avionics programs and delivering output to accounting for on-time payment.
- Reviewing inventory and organizing aircraft and engine records for storage.
- Auditing aircraft and engine records.
- Assisting the Technical and Quality teams in locating pertinent documentation
- Producing daily/weekly/monthly reports.
- Planning, tracking and scheduling aircraft maintenance.
- Researching records through contacts with OEMs or repair facilities, for obtaining life limited part trace and completing operational and technical aircraft and engine documentation.
- Ensuring all log books have the correct times and times have been calculated accurately by the crew.
Job Requirements:
- Valid FAA Airframe and Powerplant Certificate
- 3-5 years’ experience with turbine aircraft
- Previous experience performing maintenance under FAA Part 135 & Part 145
- Must pass a DOT/FAA Pre-Employment Drug Screen.
- Must clear a 10-year background check with no felonies or adverse criminal activity.
- Must have own tools, etched in a shadowed box; (calibrated & special tools provided)
- Must have current and valid driver's license.
