Reliance Aerotech Services Grows Support for Marine Toys for Tots Program

Reliance Aerotech Services has strengthened their holiday commitment to the Marine Corps Toys for Tots program this year by matching the contributions of employees. In addition to the $1,000 Reliance Aerotetch Services donated to the Toys for Tots program in 2008, the company matched the donations of Reliance Aerotech employees on a dollar for dollar basis contributing a total of $2,140 to help make this the best Christmas Day for children in need.

“In a year where so many charities are struggling, we wanted to find a way to grow our support for the good work the U.S. Marine Corps does with this program,” said Reliance Aerotech Services General Manager Ron Jordan. “Together with our employees we have strenghtened our commitment to the families helped by the Toys for Tots program. We hope that by growing our contribution during a difficult economic year we can challenge other aviation companies to find innovative ways to support charities that help our young people over the holiday season.”

Check presentations were made to representatives of the Toys for Tots program in Reliance Aerotech Services’ Pensacola and Nashville offices.

The Marine Toys for Tots program was founded in 1991 by the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve with the objective of helping needy children throughout the United States experience the joy of Christmas. The Marine Corps believes our children are one of our nation’s most valuable natural resources and that the program will motivate them to grow into responsible, productive, patriotic citizens and community leaders
